Copernicus and Curie
Learn about the scientific work and discoveries of Copernicus (heliocentric solar system) and Marie Curie (radium and mobile X-Rays).
At the end of each presentation there is a craft activity for children: create a model of the solar system and an X-ray to take home.
2 hours, ages 7-adult, $8 per person including adults which includes all craft materials

Paper cut-outs workshop $8.00 per person, 7 years plus, relaxing and fun, plenty of ideas given to take home and try more designs!
Come create with paper and scissors. All ages welcome. Great activity for the whole family
Polish decorative paper cut-outs belong to the most beautiful in the world. Traditionally they were made by hand, without drawing the lines first, cut with sheep-sheering scissors.

- Designs based on the Lowicz and Kurpie regions of Poland
- This workshop is also available throughout the year, other dates and days, and is ideal for birthday parties too!

Come join us, the ‘Friday Paper Cutters’ adult group extra class for Christmas, making 3D stars for your Christmas tree.
We usually meet on the first Friday of the month for the traditional Polish paper cut-out technique called Wycinanki.

Primary / Intermediate teachers and home educators are invited to visit the Polish Museum for a presentation, in preparation for student visits in 2017 . Experience the ‘Stefania for Schools’ lesson called Identity/Migration: Polish children arrive in 1944 with slideshow, objects and artworks, plus view worksheets linked to the NZ school curriculum.
